Default Trivium, Godforbid, Bloodsimple

Saw them all last night at the astoria
Bloodsimple were cool, but the songs sounded quite similar to me.
Godfordib were cool, good music and the crowd loved them
Trivium were cool, kinda short set with the worst encore (played 20 seconds of the intro of a blink song and greenday) but the set was cool, and his voice sounded alright. Not to mention a great drum solo and a cool guitar off.

I was prepared to give Bloodsimple the benefit of the doubt when I saw them support Mastodon as I loved Vision Of Disorder. However to be honest they just seem to play utterly formulaeic rubbish. But then I can't stand most of the bands that are doing the round at the moment like Trivium, Bloodsimple, Avenged Sevenfold, God Forbid etc etc. They all seem to be more about posing than music. And don't even get me started on the "emo" bands. When I first saw "Aiden" on TV I felt myself looking for an axe to throw at something.
