This kit is being done for a dude in LA studying percussion I believe. He saw the bass drum where I burned the thorn vines and branches and wanted something along those lines.
What I am going to do is take the patterns of tree branches and flow them along the central part of each drum . So it essence vine type things twisting and running around each drum. I will add one detailed area on each drum but I havent determined what that will be yet.
I will try and document everything here as I go with my thoughts on the process as well as getting the feedback from you all.
This thread will also be the comments thead for the blog.
