Hey there, This is Javier M. Barrios. A Saluda Endorser with latin experience, as a matter of fact, the only Latin endorser to Saluda cymbals currently. I just wanted to let everyone know that I am now a part of Ghost Note and I wanted to say a few words about Jamie and Saluda.
Jamie and Saluda is the best company that I have worked with in a long time. Jamie has a fantastic ear and perfect pitch when it comes to cymbals.
I really like his style and the way he does business. He is going to take down the "big 3" in the near future. Those other cymbals companies don't have a chance against the "little guy"

Javier, I wish you had been around a few weeks back. I got my first set of congas (10" quinto and 11" conga) for a praise group I play with, and wasn't tuning them quite right. I had them tuned too low and they sounded horrible. Thought I was going to have to return them. I'm sure you would've probably been able to set me straight. I've been searching for some good websites for tutorials on basic latin rythms and conga playing in general, so if you know of any, feel free to share. Anyway, not trying to jack the thread, but if you have any conga tips, bring 'em bro! :)

I also play all Saludas
14" mist rock hats, 18" mist mdedium crash, 18" mist rock crash, 20" mist heavy dry ride, 7" voodoo ex bell, and 19" voodoo china. All great cymbals, I played a friends set a while ago that had all A Customs and would take my Mists over them in a second. And Jamie is a really cool guy; answered all my questions and hooked me up with some kick ass cymbals

Yeppers, I, too, am a proud endorser of Saludas! I was amazed when they arrived, they were a lot better than I expected. The ride just fills every nook and cranny I ever needed, the crashes seem to be both bright AND dark at the same time, and although to me, the Mist line looks a little funny, especially the polished ones, all preconceived notions vanish once you lay a stick into 'em. I host blues jams in Central Missouri, and every drummer who comes up to play on my kit is like "What the hell are these?" and then they are blown away!!
