I would suggest going to Meinl's site to find out more about the Amun line. Hell, I surely don't know. The question is, do you like 'em? That's the one that counts the most.

Oh man, now we're talkin!! I love every single cymbal (of course with exception of a rare few) of the higher 4 lines they have, the quality is insane and soundwise superb. This company needs a spark and 10x as much appreciation then they're getting now!
ps: How are ze hats? ;)

Got to try them out at practice, and at a gig Saturday.
At practice, i didnt much care for them (Meinl Amun 13" Medium hats)... in a small closed room, they were just way harsh, bright, and not that pleasant. But when i set them up at my gig (on an x-hat), i liked them. They were a nice contrast to my regular hats (14" Paiste Dark Crisps).

That name just cracks me up. It sounds like a snack food..hehehe...
(Paiste makes great cymbals and they stay crunchy in milk!)

Yes, Meinl Amuns are B8, which doesn`t mean it`s a bad cymbal. They compare quite good to Paiste 2002s. Amuns are perfect for heavier styles like rock or metal.
