I've got some Zildjian 14 inch hats. Stamped, but the stamps are hand done and uneven. Inside the hats, they have inked in the size and 'top' 'bottom'. I don't find any other marks. I'm not using these, as my new Masterworks sound better, but these are fine hats. I'm trying to figure out what model they might be. I tried on the cymbalistics forum, but can't search, my old Userid is gone...I got frustrated. I hit Zildjian and their site admits they won't be any help.
I bought these used off eBay about 8 months back.
Ideas of what to look for?

Well, our cymbalholic forums are still down BUT you might be able to use the trademark stamp charts by Bill Hartrick to determine the age of your cymbals...if age is a factor in your question. You've already probably looked at the timeline of the stamps anyway. If not, go to cymbalholic.com then click on "contributors" link and then look under Bill's section...click on the A.Zildjian chronology link there and compare the engraved stamps on your cymbals with those shown to help determine age. This won't indicate to you much about what model hats they are/were.
