I'm a Zildjian guy, but I love the Paragon 10" Splash and 19" China, and I'm trying to get some opinions here.
I boiled down to seeing that the Zildjian K Pre-Aged Dry Light Ride is kind of similar to the Sabian HH Classic Ride, and I like the HH 14" Thin Crash (one of my friends has one in his collection of Sabians).
So... what do you think are your two favorite Sabian crashes?
I need two crashes, and listening to the MP3s online and listening to them in person is so much different.
The Evo crashes are nice, but I need two, extremely versatile crashes. Some crashes I can go from soft to loud (thus I can't use the Paragon crashes).
Thanks
Though I dont have any of these, I have played them and really like them, 18" HH rock crash and 18" HH medium thin crash. Nice and full, nice overtones, and not too dark.

i went to the store to pick out two crashes at the same time. I tried out combinations blindly and picked these two because to my ears they worked so well with eachother. 16 AAXplosion and an 18 hhx stage crash is what i bought.

I'm loving my 14, 17 & 18" AAX Dark Crashes. Very versatile and not harsh in any way.

I have an 80's 16" HH crash that I love. It's more of a dark crash, but because of the smaller size it's sounds awesome in any type of music.

Not really a Sabian user but I like the Saturation crashes. I also like a couple of the Paragon crashes.
mmm.... I love my HHX Extreme crash so much it's the only one I use. Ok, I'm broke from buying drum shells to feed my addiction and can't afford a dark crash.. cause that's what I would get next ;)

I love my 16" El Sabor. Great cymbal. Also AAX 14" Dark, another good one. I like the majority of Sabians thinner models, hand hammered or not. Check them all out. The 19" Paragon China is sweet.
Anyone try or use the "duo" models. I like the sound, but I've only heard them at Sabians site.

If you want decent Sabians on a budget, look/listen to the XS20's. I heard a set (16, 18,) that suprised me. As always, play a lot of them to find the sweet ones.
