so i saw an article in modern drummer about this guy and thought his stuff looked pretty neat. then i found this on cymbalholic and couldn't believe my ears. in this thing, he turns a blank into a sweet jazz ride. check this out and be sure to listen to all the clips, to see the progression of sound. these are really custom cymbals.

Well its not really CUSTOM cymbals...but they are pretty sweet...if we could order the actual raw cymbals (all of them) and then cut/lathe them down that would be cool...Cause i know i've lathed a cymbal down be4.

Bob cianci wrote that piece on skiba a few months ago for modern drummer. Mike does some really nice stuff he can tailor a cymbal to your liking. thats pretty custom in my book

I've known about what this guy does for awhile now.

It's my understanding that the cymbal companies not pleased with what he does with their products.

I say that this is another option available to drummers.

Bros, this is a great time for drummers.
