I just wanted to say thanks to all you guys helping make this place be the main custom builders drum board. Even though it is in its infancy, and has a long way to go I wanted let you guys know that this site is your site. Anything you can come up with you would like to see happen here is what it is about. Also I would like extend any invitations for those so inclined to get envolved to help it grow. If your a good HTML guy or just want to make things rock let me know would love to have ya.

My suggestion:
I think people would come here if you gave away free snares. So think about that one for a while and get back to me with my free snare.

Yea I want to have the give aways and also contests ever few months or so promoting everyone's great work. Besides I don't see anyone else making such a presence other than board posts with this kind of thing. I think just have a place actualy focused on this other than a message board will motivate some folks to show off .
Did I say " REEEEEDDDDDDDDDD " !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! and also poop

Yo Guys,
I'm still on a hot streek that started in Denver, I hit a $25 scratch off yesterday. Don't worry though, I've got enough projects to last me through Christmas, so I'll give everybody a break and not enter but somewhere down the line I'd sure like to own one of the Scribe's shells.

Paul is my friend from the UK (Different Drums), who also frequents RMMP. I found out about this site there.

It is so nice to see a new site with a different perspective. A view from the builders eye. I think that this forum can become a place for all drummers and durm makers alike to learn more about the instrument.
I would like to convey a lesson that I learned from an African drum maker when I was on tour in Gahana West Africa.
I came across a drum maker who explained to me that the drum he was making was once a living thing with a spirit of it's own. It was a tree. When that tree was cut, it's spirit died leaving behind a spirit house.
He went on to say that the drum maker, as he hand makes this drum, fills some of the rooms of the spirit house with his spirit through the care and love that he puts into it's creation. Then it is up to the player of the drum to fill the remaining rooms with his spirit to make the drum come back to life.
Good luck with the site. I will come back to visit from time to time.

Count me in, I'll donate a semi-finished shell. Not sure what kind yet, ti, SST or aluminum but email me and let me know what month you want to give it away so I can make sure all is complete.
