Just got this email from the drumshop in Portland, ME. If you haven't been there make it point to do this if your in the area. One of the best drum stores I've ever been to, loaded with high end kits from the top dog drum makers.

The Drum Shop is pleased to announce that we will be hosting a drum clinic on September 27th, featuring Mike Snyder. This event is sponsored by The Drum Shop in conjunction with Roland. This clinic will be focused on Roland’s extended line of electronic drums and percussion. The clinic will be here at the store, and admission is free. Start time is at 7 pm sharp.
I urge you to check this clinic out. This is the 3rd time we’ve had him in clinic, and there is something to be learned from this. Electronic drums are now 40% of our drum set sales, and believe it or not, the largest drum company in the world measured by sales is……..that‘s right…Roland!
So, electronic drums are NOT going away, and they feel and sound much better than you may remember. So come check it out. It is fun, informative, and best of all….FREE!!
