Next time you feel sorry for yourself because the great gigs just aren't there, remember this guy...

I met Larry in 1990; he was then just fifteen years old and had been doing the subway bucket gig for three or four years to support his ( at that point recently deceased ) crack-addicted mother.

He's now must be thirty two or so, and three of the kids in the video are apparently his.

Talk about resilience...

He received a "buddy rich scholarship" back in the day.......I wonder where he went to school to use it?

I remember seeing this guy in NYC. He was amazing.

There were all kinds of rumors about this guy getting offers from drum companies and such. I wonder what happened?

I heard a rumor that he got kicked out for misconduct...dunno if it's true though
