I'd be willing to bet Minneapolis gets more/ better talent than Montello, Wisconsin. :)

One of the Drumsmith guys took his wife and kids to see the show; immensely more entertaining than the average Disney flick, I'd bet...!!:-)

Gregg Bendian has done a great service creating a group like this, that plays this music. The music of the MO is something that does need to be experienced live. And if you've ever had the chance to actually perform this music, well, you know what you're in for.

...I'm wondering how Cobham recorded those albums, with all that paying in there...amazing, even to this day...

Billy Cobham is here (West Point) today doing a clinic, and tomorrow night doing a concert with the jazz band. Should I ask him?

By the way, if you're within a decent distance from West Point and would like to come to the concert tomorrow night, it is FREE. Click on the link in my signature below if you want more info. For those who don't know, West Point is about 60 miles north of NYC.

Thanks for the invite. As much as I'd love to come down to West Point and NYC ( I live upstate, so it's not too far) I'm really busy. I will definitely keep an eye out when he's in town next.
