The pads are rubber and there all those cracks around the pads around were the "rim" is sopose to be? What have you guy found to be the best way to clean these pads both drum and cymbal pads? Any sugestions?
Thanks

Use Armor All wipes, the purple container ones.

I'll give that a try.. but I also thought of using some of that computerkeybored duster in a can in some of the hrd to get placess where it's real dusty. Will have to go get some and give it a try later. Thanks

go to yamahaus.com. I think they have the mauals in PDF. Back of the instructions for cleaning instructions. However,
Pads: Most say a damp rag to clean. A silicone wipe to protect (lightly!). I don't like Amour All on much, as it contains Alchol which DRIES out the rubber (in about a week). Check on Turtle Wax, Maguires rubber protectorant etc.

Electonics: Damp rag. Blow off the dust.

Thanks for the tips Rhjanes, Yeah I did'nt like the armoral idea much either kind of scared to use that on these pads. I still have the manual so i will look also there was so much dust i realey idn't notice but there was a ton. The keybored duster worked pretty book. Has one of those straw tips so you can get in the cracks well. Thanks
