hey guys, not quite done yet. this is about a month in. 5 ply, all 10 inchers. single zone kick and toms. double zone snare. TD-5, yamaha PCY for hat, pintech POS for the ride. (really a PC 14B)

This was not my original kick mount method. I had planned for it to go on a cowbell pedal mount, but the rod was just slightly too small for my bracket. I actually like this better tho. I just need to get a 5000 or IC with velcro on the bottom (Im also thinking world max. Anyone tried one of these?). it doesn't really creep at all, but i definitely cant shuffle out the punk rock doubles on the crappy pearl.

Also, I have a 3 x 10 that is gonna get turned into an e-snare. gonna mount it on a snare stand and move my current snare off to my left for a left side floor tom/alt snare/percussion whatever.

I am still trouble shooting the dual trigger snare. I cant get the rim to trigger for some reason. I can trigger it with a paper clip just on the male part of the cable, but for some reason my jack wont trigger it. both peizos are good, and i redid soldering... anyway, ill get it figured out, i haven't really tried that hard yet.

Im still waiting on my FD6 for the hat pedal, and a crash. the kits aton of fun. it doesn't feel like an acoustic kit tho, so I have only been using it for after hours and early morning sessions.

anyway, i think im doin alright for a guitar player.

ill get better pics and audio up when i get everything the way i want it.

oh some stuff I forgot.

the shells are 3.5 inches deep, and all the hardware came from drumfoundry.

this was my first time drilling and doing edges and cutting down from a tube. Those sure were fun. And now I know how to do them for my acoustic kit which is coming up at the beginning of next year.
