hey,
i have been looking for like an hour to find the diameter to drill for a standard radioshack flush mount. its supposed to be the same as a standard vent hole? any help?
thanks,

I think it should be the same, but the only way to make sure is to start a size smaller and work up to it.
Otherwise, you can always take the male end of the jack (the one that goes into the shell and take it to a hardware store to measure it.
It has been a little while since I drilled mine, so I can't remember with certainty.
Sorry about that.

those radio shack connectors require a 3-8" mounting hole
