A while back, I posted a question about how to mount the Alesis DMPro I bought to the Gibraltar rack that I already have. I went and got a 90 degree angle clamp from Musiciansfriend.com and a 20" Gibraltar tube arm to extend off the rack and make the tube parallel to the floor. Now I am trying to figure out what else I need.
I was under the impression that all I would need would be the two brackets that Hart Dynamics sells that would slide onto the Gibraltar tube arm and affix to the "ears" of the module, but when I called West LA Music, the guy told me that I needed more than that to make this work - he said I needed two additional arms and a clamp to cradle the module. This doesn't seem quite right.
Any suggestions?
